Biography

Noel Anderson is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto, specializing in International Relations. His research focuses on external intervention in internal conflicts and the dynamics of limited war and counterinsurgency. Anderson is currently working on a book project that develops a theory of competitive intervention in civil wars, exploring the temporal variations in the global prevalence and average duration of intrastate conflicts.
