Noelia Sánchez-Walker received her Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on Spanish-English bilingualism in the United States, particularly on factors affecting the acquisition and development of Spanish heritage language. She has also worked as a translator and proofreader in major cities including Boston, Los Angeles, and New York City.
