Biography

Dr. Rohatinsky received her undergraduate and graduate education from the University of Saskatchewan, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002, a Master of Nursing in 2008, and a PhD in 2013. She has a passion for medical-surgical nursing and has been instrumental in founding the Canadian Association of Medical-Surgical Nurses and the Medical-Surgical Certification exam offered by the Canadian Nurses Association. Her research significantly contributes to enhancing patient and family-centered care while developing support for healthcare professionals and students to care for patients, particularly in managing chronic diseases. Her specific research interest and expertise lie in inflammatory bowel disease.
