Dr. Noelle Younge

Biography

Noelle Elizabeth Younge is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Duke University. She has extensive training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, having completed her fellowship at Duke University, where her research focuses on the health and development of preterm infants. Dr. Younge also completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Minnesota. Her contributions to the field include several NIH-funded research projects examining factors that influence postnatal growth and health in vulnerable populations, particularly very low birthweight preterm infants. She is actively involved in research aimed at understanding the importance of microbiome metabolism in the growth and health outcomes of preterm infants. With a strong commitment to academic excellence and a focus on improving clinical practices, she strives to advance the field of pediatric neonatology through evidence-based research and clinical care.
