Biography

Noémie Jaquier is an Assistant Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, specializing in robot learning and control. She is a Research Fellow funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. Noémie received her Ph.D. in 2020 and has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the High Performance Humanoid Technologies Lab (H²T) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and as a visiting postdoctoral scholar at the Stanford Robotics Lab. Her research focuses on leveraging differential geometry and physics-based inductive biases to develop data-efficient robot learning algorithms, with a particular interest in optimization and control mechanisms that provide sound theoretical guarantees. Noémie has been actively involved in teaching courses on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics as well as leading reading groups in the field.
