Dr. Noffar Bar

Biography

Noffar Bar, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine specializing in Hematology at Yale School of Medicine. After completing her medical degree at the American Medical Program at Tel Aviv University, she undertook her internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and completed her fellowship at Yale. Dr. Bar is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Her research primarily focuses on multiple myeloma and plasma cell disorders, exploring innovative treatment modalities such as CAR T-cell therapy and stem cell transplants. In her role, she aims to improve care for patients with multiple myeloma and is dedicated to conducting clinical trials that enhance patient outcomes. Dr. Bar's commitment to patient care is evident in her efforts to promote high-value care for hematology patients. She has received grants, including the Conquer Cancer Foundation’s Young Investigator Award, to support her work in preventing multiple myeloma.
