Dr. Noha Gomaa is an Assistant Professor, Oral Medicine at Schulich Dentistry, Western University. She is also the Associate Director of Research and an Associate Scientist at Lawson Health Research Institute. Dr. Gomaa holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Alexandria University, a Master of Science (MSc) from Alexandria University, and a PhD from the University of Toronto. Dr. Gomaa leads the Society-to-Cell Oral Health Research Lab (S2CL), where she employs multi-disciplinary methods, including epidemiology and neuroscience, to investigate the chronic oral diseases that relate to major health conditions. She aims to inform precision health approaches that promote oral and systemic health across the life course. Currently, she is accepting graduate students for research opportunities. Dr. Gomaa is active in enhancing clinical practices and understanding in the field and often collaborates with other researchers in her area.
