Biography

Nomi Claire Lazar is a Full Professor at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Specializing in political ethics, crisis government, comparative constitutionalism, and political legitimacy, she teaches courses on human rights, moral reasoning, and criminal law policy. She has contributed to prisoners' rights advocacy and provided expertise to various media outlets, including BBC and CBC. Lazar's academic training includes interdisciplinary studies in political science, philosophy, and legal theory, with degrees from Yale University, University College London, and the University of Toronto.
