Biography

Nongnooch Kuasirikun is an Associate Professor in Accounting at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She has been a faculty member since 2013. Her research focuses on accounting history and corporate social responsibility (CSR), particularly in the context of developing economies and emerging markets (DEEMs), including Thailand. Kuasirikun's work has been widely published in influential journals such as Accounting, Organizations, Society and Critical Perspectives on Accounting. She serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals and is on the advisory board of the Sustainability Accounting Management Policy Journal. She has designed and validated the MRes Programme at AMBS and currently directs the MSc Accounting programme. Kuasirikun is also keen to supervise PhD students interested in qualitative analysis of CSR activities in DEEMs and regulation on sustainability reporting. Her research interests include the GRI reporting framework, CSR practices, and the socio-cultural interactions affecting these areas.
