Biography

Noori Kim is an Assistant Professor at Purdue Polytechnic University, specializing in engineering technology. She earned her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to her appointment at Purdue, Dr. Kim was a research fellow in the Mechanical Aerospace Engineering Department at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and served as an Assistant Professor at Newcastle University Singapore and Digipen Institute of Technology. She has a multidisciplinary background that enables her to bridge various engineering systems and focuses on topics such as Hearing Mechanics, Future Healthcare, MEMS, Electromagnetics, Acoustics, and Embedded Systems. Her research interests include Hearing Transducers, Monitoring Systems, and Electroacoustics, alongside a particular interest in Sensors.
