Biography

Noori Saady is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from the University of Technology in Iraq and a PhD from the University of Windsor, Ontario. His expertise lies in environmental engineering, with a focus on biotechnology and waste treatment technologies. As a licensed professional engineer (P.Eng), Dr. Saady is committed to the development of sustainable technologies for waste treatment and bioenergy production from renewable resources. He has also worked with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Bio-Terre Systems Inc. before joining Memorial University in 2016.
