Dr. Nora Keenan

Biography

Nora Keenan is an Assistant Professor at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in health psychology and integrated care. With a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a BA from the University of California, Irvine, her professional focus includes medical education and the psychological aspects of patient care. Dr. Keenan works as a Staff Psychologist at the VA Boston, collaborating with medical providers to assess and manage the behavioral components of psychiatric and medical health. She has a particular interest in interdisciplinary medical education, especially for psychology trainees, and is the Training Coordinator for Primary Care Behavioral Health at the VA Boston. Her practice and research interests encompass integrated care, interprofessional training, women's health, health behavior, and the role of affect regulation in health outcomes.
