Biography

Tenor Norman Reinhardt is one of the world's leading operatic artists. In the 2023-24 season, he made debuts in Shenzhen, China as Don Jose in Carmen with the Shenzhen Opera Dance Theater, and at the Staatsoper Hamburg, followed by his debut with the London English National Opera as Tamino in Mozart’s Magic Flute. This year he is set to sing Pollione in Bellini’s Norma at the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg and will make his debut with the Northern Ireland Opera in Belfast as Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. Throughout his career, Reinhardt has also performed at prestigious venues including the Salzburg Festival, Theater der Wien, Teatro Real, Semperoper Dresden, Berlin State Opera, and Paris Champs Elysees, and Hamburg State Opera among others. In addition to his extensive career as a soloist, Reinhardt is a co-founder of Living Opera, a multimedia startup in the opera and classical music space aimed at producing materials to educate and empower artists as they advance their careers. He studied at Asbury College and the University of Kentucky, with training culminating in his role as a studio artist at the prestigious Houston Grand Opera.
