Biography

Ntina joined ANU College of Law as a Senior Lecturer in July 2020. Before this, she was an ARC Laureate Postdoctoral Fellow at Melbourne Law School. She obtained her PhD from Durham Law School in the UK in 2016 and has worked as a lecturer at various institutions. Her work focuses on the political economy, historical theory of international law, with significant interests in historical materialism, deconstruction, and feminist queer legal theory. Notably, her monograph titled 'Capitalism Civilisation: History International Law' was published by Cambridge University Press in late 2020. Ntina is a member of the editorial collective for the 'World Approaches International Law Review' and was appointed as Senior Advisor to the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food in early 2020.
