Ms. Nurul Adliah graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography in 2007. She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) from Charles Sturt University, New South Wales, Australia, in 2008, and holds a Master of Medical Ultrasound from the University of South Australia in Adelaide, awarded in 2014. Nurul began her career in diagnostic ultrasound from 2008 to 2010 and was awarded the Singhealth HMDP scholarship for 'Advanced Transplantation Contrast Enhanced Abdominal Ultrasound' at Toronto General Hospital in Ontario, Canada, for two months. She has played an active role as a committee member in the establishment of the new Sengkang Hospital, overseeing the procurement of ultrasound machines for the entire institution. Additionally, she is responsible for training new radiographers in ultrasound modality and conducting ultrasound workshops for Allied Health Professionals in the hospital. Nurul has guided ultrasound radiographers in both local and overseas conferences, focusing on oral and poster presentations. Presently, she is leading a research study on 'Reliability of Ultrasound to Assess Nasogastric Tube (NGT) Placement'. In November 2019, she joined the board of the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) with a 0.2 FTE Joint Appointment, teaching undergraduates and participating in the Post Graduate Programme in the field of Sonography.
