Professor O. Yul Kwon holds the Korean Foundation Chair in Korean Studies at Griffith University, Australia, where he also serves as the Director of the Australian Centre for Korean Studies. Additionally, he holds a chair professorship at Mokpo National University in Korea. Professor Kwon's professional experience includes working at the Bank of Korea, serving as a Commissioner at the Saskatchewan Securities Commission, and holding positions such as Board Member at Korea Exchange Bank Canada and Vice President at Net Five Telecom Corporation Canada. He has consulted for various public and private sector organizations and has conducted numerous workshops on the dynamics of East Asian business. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Seoul National University and MA and Ph.D. degrees in economics from McMaster University. Professor Kwon has published nine books and numerous articles in refereed journals and has presented lectures in over 30 countries.
