Biography

Octavia Dobre is a full professor and Canada Research Chair Tier-1 at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she joined the faculty in 2005. Her research interests encompass future wireless networks, optical underwater communications, and various integrated communication systems. Dobre has authored or co-authored over 600 internationally referred journal and conference papers across these areas.
