Biography

Ofer Fridman joined King’s College London in 2016 after completing his PhD in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Reading. His research centers on the intersection of strategic communications and military thinking in contemporary conflicts, particularly with a focus on Russia. Ofer is a member of the Canadian Network on Information Security at the University of Calgary and serves on the editorial board of the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism. He holds a PhD in Politics, a Master's in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security from the Interdisciplinary Centre in Herzliya, and a Bachelor's in Military History and Security Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His teaching includes guerilla warfare and applied strategic communications. Ofer has published extensively on Russian hybrid warfare and the effects of disinformation.
