Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Oksana Trushkevych. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Oksana joined as an Assistant Professor in September 2022. She is a fellow of the Warwick Institute of Engagement and a module leader for an interdisciplinary module on Science Music. Her research interests cover ultrasonics and materials characterization of soft matter, focusing on solving industrially relevant problems through non-destructive testing and various novel approaches such as thermography, electromagnetic magnetostrictive acoustic transducers, and laser ultrasonics. Oksana is developing sensitive soft matter-based film sensors for ultrasound visualization. She holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and has worked as a Research Associate in the Photonics, Sensors, and Nanomaterials Spectroscopy groups at the University of Cambridge. She later joined the Department of Physics at Warwick as a Research/Senior Research Fellow in the Ultrasonics Group. Her broad research experience includes photonics, liquid crystal-based nanocomposite materials, microwave THz properties, ultrasonic methods, and non-contact ultrasonics for various applications including additive manufacturing and characterizations of materials.
Includes General, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Biomedical, and Manufacturing Engineering. Most programs fall under English Band A.
