Dr. Olaf Kraus De Camargo

Biography

Olaf Kraus De Camargo is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University. He completed his medical education and pediatric training in Brazil, followed by residency in Germany where he received specialized training in developmental-behavioral pediatrics, social pediatrics, and child neurology. He defended his doctoral thesis at Ulm University. Prior to joining the faculty at McMaster University, he served as Medical Director and CEO of Pediatrics at Kinderzentrum Pelzerhaken gGmbH from 2001 to 2006, and was a Professor of Social Medicine and Social Health Care at the University of Applied Sciences Nordhausen from 2006 to 2008. His extensive background includes various certifications and postgraduate training in pediatrics and related fields.
