Olaf Schenk is a Professor at the Institute of Computing within the Faculty of Informatics at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Switzerland. He contributes as an associate editor for the ACM Transactions on Mathematical Software and is involved in the editorial board of the SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing. Olaf has played significant roles in chairing international conferences and has co-won the SIAM Supercomputing Prize in 2023 for outstanding contributions in parallel scientific engineering computing. He also founded and directs Panua Technologies Sagl, a company that specializes in high-end software solutions for prediction, simulation, optimization, and graph analytics.
