Biography

Jummy is a multisector equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), leadership development, and employee wellbeing academic consultant with over a decade of experience. As a qualified positive psychologist, she uniquely integrates positive psychology interventions and human resource tools to support flourishing organizations and thriving employees. Jummy has substantial experience delivering strategic EDI projects and developing leading executive programs. She is at the forefront of promoting inclusion and gender equity, having co-developed and facilitated one of the largest leadership development programs for women at AstraZeneca, aimed at advancing women into senior leadership. Her unique combination of knowledge and experience includes a former role leading an MBA program and serving as an EDI consultant at Cambridge Judge Business School, as well as being a leadership coach at London Business School. Jummy is a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools’ Race Equity Action Group and serves as a board member of the Chartered Management Institute for women, contributing to government policy that supports organizations in achieving gender and racial equity. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship, an MSc in Business Information Systems, and an MSc in Positive Psychology Coaching Psychology. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Jummy has been recognized as one of the top ten diversity allies in education in 2022 and one of the top 50 inspirational black women in the UK in 2019. In 2017, she was nominated for excellence in diversity in higher education and awarded honorary fellow status at University College London for her contributions to executive education.
