Professor Dr. Ole Mikkelsen

Biography

Ole Stegmann Mikkelsen is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, specializing in Supply Chain and Technology Management. He holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management and has extensive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement. His research interests focus on buyer-supplier relationships, supplier relationship management, global sourcing, and corporate social responsibility within supply chains. Ole has lectured on various topics, including CSR and supply chain innovation, at both MSc and BSc levels. In addition to his academic roles, he has held significant positions in industry, including Director of Group Procurement Finance at Danfoss A/S. Over the years, Ole has contributed to various projects surrounding supply chain resilience and has collaborated on multiple publications. Committed to advancing academic thought and practice in supply chain management, he actively engages in conference organization and is involved in research journal editorial activities. Furthermore, he participates in workshops and mentoring, contributing to the broader academic community in his field.
