Biography

Olena Riabinina is an Associate Professor in Biosciences at Durham University, specialising in sensory neuroscience, neuroethology and genetic tool development for insect research. She studies insect behavior, olfactory processing, visual navigation and brain function using AI-based behavioral tracking, imaging and genetic tools. Her previous research spans UCL, Johns Hopkins University, Imperial College London and the University of Manchester, where she held a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship.
