Olga Kuryatnikova is an assistant professor at the Econometric Institute of Erasmus University Rotterdam, specializing in optimization and algorithm development. Her research focuses on creating solution approaches and approximation algorithms for non-linear optimization problems, utilizing convex programming techniques. Kuryatnikova's work bridges theoretical research and real-world applications, particularly addressing optimization challenges within network systems, relevant to sectors such as energy, water management, and transportation. Prior to entering academia, she gained practical experience as a financial analyst in the industry. Her research interests extend to economics, statistics, and machine learning.
