Biography

Olga Maslovskaya is a Professor of Survey Methodology and Social Statistics at the University of Southampton. She is an expert in survey methodology with a particular focus on data quality and survey data collection. Olga serves as the Deputy Director of the ESRC-funded Survey Futures programme, a multi-institutional research initiative aimed at ensuring the sustainability of high-quality data collection in the rapidly changing landscape of survey research in the UK. She is also the Principal Investigator of the project 'Under-represented Population Subgroups in Social Surveys: Respondent-Driven Sampling Methods' and a Co-Investigator for the ESRC-funded project 'The Generations Gender Survey: Investigating Demographic Changes and Family'. Olga leads the work package responsible for the design and implementation of methodological experiments in online surveys. Her extensive involvement in advisory and editorial roles includes positions such as Vice-Chair of the Methods Advisory Board for the European Social Survey and Associate Editor for the Journal of Survey Statistics and Methodology. She contributes to the field through active participation in various research projects related to survey methods and data collection.
