Biography

Oliver Hankinson is a distinguished research professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He graduated summa cum laude with a B.Sc. in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh and obtained his Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Cambridge in 1972. He has received numerous honors throughout his career, including being elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2013 and receiving the Distinguished Toxicology Award in 2011.
