Biography

Oliver Jia-Richards is an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, where he leads the Space Mobility Research Group. He earned a Doctorate in Space Propulsion Controls in 2022, a Master's in Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2019, and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering in 2018, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Before joining the University of Michigan, Oliver was a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
