Biography

Ollie joined King’s in January 2020 to develop modules in performance psychology, drawing on his expertise for the BSc Psychology and BSc Sport & Exercise Medical Sciences courses. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Chartered Psychologist, he is also a CASES Accredited Sport & Exercise Scientist. He is the Editor in Chief of Perceptual Motor Skills and serves as Associate Editor for the European Journal of Sport Science and as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Sport Sciences. Ollie co-leads the Multidisciplinary Occupational Research Performance Health (MORPH Lab), and is involved in initiatives such as the Spacesuit Physiology Laboratory and the IoPPN Virtual Reality Lab. His academic interests focus on applied research within the main themes of future technology in sport, exercise, and health, neurodiversity in mental health and human performance, and applied vision in cognitive sciences. Ollie collaborates with various external partners including the UK Sports Institute and Premier League, enhancing his visibility through print, podcasts, and invited keynote talks.
