Dr. Oliver Stelzer

Biography

Oliver Stelzer is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia's Department of Physics and Astronomy, and a Senior Scientist at TRIUMF. His research primarily focuses on Particle Nuclear Physics, with significant contributions to the understanding of Subatomic Physics and High Energy Particle Physics. He has extensive experience in both teaching and research, having previously held positions at renowned institutions, including a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Oxford. Stelzer has actively contributed to various committees within TRIUMF, including serving as the Head of the Particle Physics Department and co-chairing the Academic Committee. He is also the Director of the TRIUMF Student Program and represents the Canadian Association of Physicists on the Canadian IUPAP Liaison Committee.
