Olivia Lott is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University, specializing in 20th and 21st-century Latin American literatures and cultures. Her scholarly writings have been featured in notable publications including PMLA and Comparative Literature. Additionally, Lott has translated and co-translated five books of Latin American poetry into English, receiving accolades from entities such as the Academy of American Poets and PEN America for her contributions in literary translation. Prior to joining Yale, she served as the Marilyn Yarbrough Fellow at Kenyon College and held positions at Washington and Lee University and Princeton University.
