Biography

Olivia Prentice is a lecturer and facilitator with extensive experience in impact investing and sustainability impact management. Currently, she serves as a partner at Bridges Fund Management, where she is responsible for the impact strategy of the funds. From 2017 to 2021, Olivia was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the time-bound Impact Management Project (IMP), a significant nonprofit initiative aimed at building global consensus around measuring and managing the sustainability impact of companies and investors. During her tenure, the IMP established a framework to facilitate convergence among global standard setters, resulting in the formation of the International Financial Reporting Standards' (IFRS) International Sustainability Standards Board. Olivia's career began in international development at British International Investment, the UK’s Development Finance Institution. With a wealth of expertise in advising investors and corporations, she specializes in designing impact investment strategies, asset allocation frameworks, and impact management approaches across diverse geographies and asset classes. Olivia has authored and overseen numerous IMP publications and serves on the advisory boards and technical committees of various standards organization in the industry, continuing her efforts to support the growth and development of the impact investing field. In addition to her practical work, Olivia teaches courses on impact investing, impact management, and social entrepreneurship at the Saïd Business School and other prestigious institutions.
