Biography

Olivia Ware, MD, is an acting instructor at the University of Washington's Department of Dermatology and a board-certified dermatologist at Harborview Medical Center. She is the Director of the Skin of Color Center of Excellence. Dr. Ware earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Whitman College in 2013, and completed her Medical Doctor degree at Howard University College of Medicine in 2020. Following her medical education, she completed an Internal Medicine Internship at MedStar/Georgetown Washington Hospital Center in 2021 and is currently finishing her Dermatology Residency at the University of California, San Francisco, expected to graduate in 2024. Dr. Ware specializes in skin color, burnout, pigmentary disorders, hair disorders, and hidradenitis suppurativa, and is actively engaged in clinical research in these areas.
