Biography

Olivier Alard is an Honorary Associate Professor at Macquarie University specializing in in-situ geochemistry and petrology. His research primarily focuses on terrestrial and extraterrestrial mafic and ultramafic rocks. He has an extensive academic background, with a Doctorate in Geochemistry from Macquarie University and Habilitation Diriger des Recheches from Universite de Montpellier. Alard has conducted significant research on is topic labels reflecting unique fingerprints in geochemistry, contributing to various international projects. His work emphasizes the sulphurous approach to understanding the Earth's origin and evolution, alongside research on isotopic fractionations pertinent to chalcophile and siderophile elements within the Earth's mantle.
