Professor Dr. Oluwatosin Adeyemo

Biography

Oluwatosin Adeyemo is dedicated to providing excellent obstetric and gynecologic care to women. A graduate of Yale Medical School, Dr. Adeyemo completed her OB/GYN residency at Harvard, being part of the integrated residency program between Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. She earned her Master of Public Health degree in 2020 at the Yale School of Public Health. Dr. Adeyemo has received numerous teaching awards, including the prestigious Outstanding Resident Recognition Award. She is passionate about addressing women's health disparities in both her immediate community and global settings through research, education, and clinical care. Dr. Adeyemo actively trains health workers in local and global contexts, believing that education empowers communities to improve health outcomes. Her work extends to establishing programs that enhance access to gynecologic care, including initiatives focused on cervical cancer screening in underserved populations in Ghana, showcasing her global health commitment.
