Omar Wani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Urban Engineering at New York University. His research combines statistical computational methods to study the dynamics of hydroclimatic risks in built and natural environments, as well as interconnected and coupled systems. Prior to joining NYU, he conducted postdoctoral work at the University of California Berkeley's Environmental Systems Dynamics Lab and the California Institute of Technology’s Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences.
