Biography

Ömer is currently a Royal Society University Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. His previous experience includes serving as a UKRI Stephen Hawking Fellow. He has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Oxford, University of Southampton, and École Normale Supérieure in Paris. Ömer obtained his PhD from Queen Mary, University of London. His research focuses on scattering amplitudes, Quantum Field Theory (QFT), and the mathematical properties and multi-loop perturbative calculations using bootstrap techniques. He is involved in research groups such as Integrable QFTs and has worked on projects related to the cluster bootstrap and scattering amplitudes in N=4 super Yang-Mills. Ömer is also accepting applications for PhD students, indicating his commitment to fostering new research talent.
