Biography

Ondrej Kitzler is a lasers and optics researcher specializing in the generation of new wavelengths of light using nonlinear processes. Currently, he is working on generating tunable THz radiation using stimulated polariton scattering crystals. Previously, he researched power scaling and frequency control in diamond Raman lasers. He completed his PhD in Physics, focused on diamond Raman lasers, at Macquarie University in 2014, and holds an MSc in Laser Optical Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague, awarded in 2010.
