Onur Kuzgunkaya joined the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Concordia University as an Assistant Professor in 2008. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Galatasaray University. He completed his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, in 2007. Before joining Concordia, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Centre at the University of Windsor. Dr. Kuzgunkaya's research focuses on design and analysis of flexible and reconfigurable manufacturing systems, performance evaluation of manufacturing systems, and complexity in manufacturing. He also specializes in multiple criteria decision-making methods, fuzzy optimization, lean manufacturing, and supply chain management.
