Biography

Osagie Imasogie has over 30 years of experience in law, finance, business management, healthcare, and the pharmaceutical industry. He co-founded PIPV Capital, a private equity firm concentrated in the life sciences sector, and served as Senior Managing Partner at Imasogie. He conceptualized and established GlaxoSmithKline Ventures, where he also served as founding Vice President. During his tenure at GSK, he led a team that invested in 30 transactions, focusing on research and development and forming new companies. Prior to GSK, he held the position of Vice President of Product Development Strategy at SmithKline Beecham and was the Founding Senior Vice President of Business Development and General Counsel at Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. Additionally, Imasogie has taught a seminar on “Intellectual Property and National Economic Value Creation” at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. He is also a co-founder and serves as President and CEO of Ception Therapeutics, Inc., and has played crucial roles in various pharmaceutical ventures. Imasogie is involved with several boards, including the Haverford Trust and Philadelphia Orchestra, and is a recipient of the Penn Carey Law Alumni Award for Merit in 2008.
