Biography

Osama Moselhi is a Professor and Director of the Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Engineering Management (CICIEM) at Concordia University. He has over 40 years of professional and academic experience, with a background in construction engineering management. Professor Moselhi has chaired his department and served as an executive advisor to the Dean of graduate studies and research. His expertise includes managing large-scale industrial construction projects, particularly in sectors such as tall buildings, bridges, and nuclear power plants. He is a fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Canadian Academy of Engineering. Throughout his career, he has supervised and co-supervised around 100 Master's and Ph.D. students and has authored or co-authored over 400 scientific publications. Professor Moselhi has contributed significantly to the field as an international consultant and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Walter Shanly Award and the Tucker-Hasegawa Award for his contributions to construction engineering and automation.
