Biography

Oussama Metatla is an Associate Professor in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Bristol. He is co-head of the Bristol Interaction Group and leads the Diverse-Ability Interaction Lab. His research focuses on making human society inclusive for disabled individuals, aiming to design future technologies that involve both disabled and non-disabled individuals in the co-design process. He previously held an EPSRC Early Career Fellowship that supported research into designing educational technologies for improved inclusion of visually impaired children in mainstream schools.
