Dr. Oyindamola Ogunlaja

Biography

Ogunlaja is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist, specializing in the treatment of chronic migraines and other headache disorders. She currently provides patient care at the Stanford Headache Clinic and holds a position as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology. Ogunlaja's expertise includes Botox therapy, trigger point injections, and occipital nerve blocks. Her prior experience includes working as a consultant neurologist at King’s College Hospital in London and serving as a clinical research fellow in the Headache Group at King’s College. Additionally, she is a physician member of the Dementia Consensus Panel for the Health Aging Africa Study. Ogunlaja has conducted pivotal research at the Unit of Health-Care Epidemiology at the University of Oxford, focusing on the epidemiology of patients hospitalized with sickle cell disease in England. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the 'Headache,' 'Current Pain,' and 'Headache Reports.' Ogunlaja has presented her research at the International Headache Conference and is an active member of the American Headache Society. Her clinical focus is on Pain Medicine.
