Dr. Ozan Tonguz

Biography

Ozan Tonguz, a Professor in the Department of Electrical Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, specializes in telecommunications networking. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University in 1990, an M.S. in 1986, and a B.S. in 1980 in Electronic Engineering from the University of Essex. His research interests encompass a wide range of areas including Optical Networks, Security, Metropolitan Area Networks, as well as Access Networks. He has extensive expertise in Optical Transmission Systems, Wireless Networks, and Communications Systems.
