Biography

Dr. Aybat received a Ph.D. in marketing from Baruch College, City University of New York, and joined Penn State Harrisburg in Fall 2012. Her research mainly focuses on consumer behavior, particularly the impact of emotions on consumers’ attitudes and behaviors, as well as the effects of individual differences on goal-pursuit processes. Her work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Consumer Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Brand Management, and has been presented at major conferences organized by the Association for Consumer Research and the Society for Consumer Psychology. She currently teaches Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, and Marketing Management.
