Biography

Professor P.G. Roy graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India, and obtained an MD degree from Dundee University, focusing on molecular markers in breast cancer. He underwent higher surgical training in Oxford and completed a national oncoplastic breast fellowship in Nottingham, UK. Currently, he is an Associate Professor and Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he serves as Cancer Lead. Additionally, he holds the position of Clinical Director for the Gynaecology Directorate within the SUWON Division at Oxford University Hospitals NHSFT and is a Retained Lecturer at Pembroke College. He also acts as the Surgery Specialty Lead for the Thames Valley and South Midlands Cancer Research Network within the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
