Biography

Pallavi Tiwari is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she serves as the Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor and Director of the Integrated Diagnostics Analytics Laboratory for Precision Medicine. Her background includes a significant role at Case Western Reserve University as the director of the Brain Image Computing Laboratory. Dr. Tiwari’s research focuses on pattern recognition, data mining, and automated image analysis for diagnostic and prognostic solutions using radiologic imaging, specifically in oncology and neurological disorders. With over 60 peer-reviewed publications and numerous patents, she has made considerable contributions to the field, being recognized as one of the 100 women achievers in science and innovation by the Government of India. Her work has earned her various prestigious awards, including the J&J WiSTEM2D scholar award, and she is a senior member of the National Academy of Inventors. Her research is supported by grants from the National Cancer Institute and the Department of Defense.
