Biography

Professor Pamela Palasanthiran is a paediatric infectious diseases specialist and Joint Head of the Department of Immunology Infectious Diseases at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network, Randwick. Her research interests include perinatal infections, particularly congenital CMV, paediatric HIV, acute bacterial meningitis, and influenza. She supervises students involved in various aspects of these research areas and contributes to guideline development and research in paediatric infectious diseases.
