Biography

Panagiotis joined the Adam Smith Business School in 2018 after earning his Ph.D. in Multinationals’ Taxation from the University of Cyprus in August 2017. He holds a BA in Public Economics from Panteion University and an MSc in International Economics and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois Gies College of Business and is a member of the Scientific Committee for the European Accounting Association Annual Congress on Taxation. Panagiotis is the founder and organizer of the Adam Smith Business School Taxation Study Group. He serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for several academic journals, including the Journal of Corporate Finance and the British Journal of Management. His research interests include Corporate Taxation, Multinationals’ Profit Shifting, Tax Avoidance, Corporate Governance, International Financial Integration, and Corporate Social Responsibility. He is interested in supervising doctoral students in these broad research areas.
