Biography

Parama Chaudhury is a Professor (Teaching) at University College London (UCL) in the Department of Economics and serves as the Pro-Vice Provost for Education focusing on the Student Academic Experience. She is the founding director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning in Economics (CTaLE), which is dedicated to researching, implementing, and evaluating new teaching and learning strategies in economics. Additionally, she is involved with several committees including the Royal Economic Society's Council Education Training Committee and the American Economic Association's Committee on Economic Education. With over a decade of experience, Parama has contributed to the professional development of economics training, notably with the UK Foreign, Commonwealth Development Office. She earned her PhD in Economics from New York University, an MA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, and a BSc in Economics from Presidency College, Kolkata.
